Mitchell Farm
click here to watch the auctionMitchell Farm in Southbury Connecticut, along the Housatonic River, under gorgeous skies. On days such as this, one can hear the droning buzz of remote control planes, being flown above in the upper fields. Corn grows on the flatlands along the river. The Shepaug hydroelectric dam, just upstream, quietly does it job, meting out water, so that there's always a dependable flow. - Nancy Boudreau
